Royal Vegas is one of the stalwarts of the Canadian online gambling scene, having launched at the beginning of the millennium in the year 2000. Since then, it has established itself as a solid choice for Canadian players, with over 700 games available from some of the world’s leading software providers. The website is also available in various languages, such as French, German, and Arabic, so you can play in the language you understand best. Royal Vegas online is owned and operated by Digimedia Limited Casinos and is fully licensed and regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority. In this Royal Vegas Casino review, we’ll take a closer look at everything it offers.

Royal Vegas Casino Registration
If you want to create your very own Royal Vegas login to see what all the fuss is about, you’re in luck! The Royal Vegas sign up process is easy to follow, and you don’t need to verify your account immediately, only when making a significant withdrawal. I’ve created a handy guide to help you through the process.
1. Click the blue “Sign Up” button in the top right-hand side of the page or in the middle of the homepage to get started.
2. Select the country you’re signing up from and the state or province you’re living in.
3. Create a username and password for your account before entering your email address and mobile number.
4. Enter your personal information, such as your name and date of birth. Here you can also select the language you would like to use as well as the currency you will use on the site.
5. Enter your home address.
6. Accept the terms and conditions and select your marketing preferences, then click the “Register” button at the bottom of the page.
It’s as easy as that; you’ve just made your very own Royal Vegas account!
Royal Vegas Casino Bonuses & Promotions
One thing we all love about playing at online casino sites is the bonuses and promotions they offer us. There’s nothing better than signing up for a site for the first time and receiving their big casino bonus. Royal Vegas offers exactly that, with the promise of more ongoing promotions once the welcome bonus has.
Royal Vegas offers a huge welcome bonus that is actually four separate deposit bonuses rolled into one. They offer a 100% matched deposit bonus up to $1200, but in reality, it’s four separate deposit bonuses with a maximum bonus amount of $300. A minimum deposit amount of $10 is required to trigger the bonus, which applies to each of the four deposit bonuses. Once you’ve triggered your welcome bonus, there is a 70x wagering requirement before any funds are available for withdrawal, so you’ll have to be extremely lucky to get any of it!
When speaking to the customer support team, they do say that ongoing promotions are available once the welcome bonus has expired, but I’ve not seen any marketing materials about those promotions, and I haven’t received any myself.
Royal Vegas Casino Banking Options
A welcome bonus isn’t worth much if you can’t get your money onto the site, and Royal Vegas has plenty of options to choose from for both deposits and withdrawals. There are no fees for depositing or withdrawing at Royal Vegas Casino, so there will be no nasty surprises when trying to get your money on and off the site. Let’s take a look at what options they offer.
|iDebit||Instant Bank Transfer|
|Instant Bank Transfer||Interac Online|
|Deposit Method||Min Deposit||Max Deposit||Min Withdrawal||Max Withdrawal||Withdrawal Time|
|Interac||$5.00||No Limit||$50.00||No Limit||3 – 7 business days|
|Visa||$5.00||No Limit||$50.00||No Limit||3 – 7 business days|
|Mastercard||$5.00||No Limit||$50.00||No Limit||3 – 7 business days|
|MuchBetter||$5.00||No Limit||$50.00||No Limit||24 – 48 hours|
|Neosurf||$5.00||No Limit||$50.00||No Limit||24 – 48 hours|
|iDebit||$5.00||No Limit||$50.00||No Limit||3 – 7 business days|
|Instant Bank Transfer||$5.00||No Limit||$50.00||No Limit||3 – 7 business days|
|Interac Online||$10.00||No Limit||$50.00||No Limit||3 – 7 business days|
|Interact e-Transfer||$10.00||No Limit||$50.00||No Limit||3 – 7 business days|
As you can see, the minimum deposit amount for each site is rather low, which is a positive, but the minimum Royal Vegas withdrawal amount is much higher than average, so players with lower bankrolls may be discouraged from playing. However, the sheer number of options Royal Vegas has is a benefit in itself, as many players will be able to use their preferred payment method at this site.
Royal Vegas Casino Software Providers
While Royal Vegas Casino online may not offer the number of different software providers that other sites can, there are still a few to choose from, and all are big names in the industry. It’s a quality-over-quantity approach that I think pays off, as there are hundreds of high-quality games on the site rather than a few good games, with the rest being average. Let’s take a closer look at the providers they host.
- NetEnt - Arguably one of the best game providers in the industry, NetEnt’s games are always top quality. They offer a range of casino and slot games, so no matter what game you enjoy, you’ll be able to find them here.
- Microgaming - Royal Vegas Casino’s primary game provider is Microgaming, and they offer hundreds of amazing slots with great designs and features. Some of the highlights include Lucky Riches, Dragon Shard, and Diamond Inferno.
Royal Vegas Casino Security & Licensing
We firmly believe that your security is our number one priority when reviewing these online casino sites. After all, if you can’t trust a site with your money, then what’s the point of playing there? With that in mind, we will only ever review sites that are fully licensed and regulated by a recognized gambling authority. We sign up and deposit our own money onto these sites, and you’d best believe that if we don’t think it’s safe, we’ll tell you about it.
Royal Vegas Casino is fully licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority, one of the most respected gaming authorities in the world. Applications for this license cost €5,000 to even apply, with no guarantee that you’ll be awarded one. Companies have to meet stringent requirements to be awarded one of these licenses, so the fact that Royal Vegas has one is a positive sign.
However, it’s important to mention that a fair number of people have had negative experiences with Royal Vegas Casino, complaining about slow or non-existent payouts, as well as withheld funds. At the time of writing, there are five official complaints lodged with complaintsboard.com, with four still unresolved. While there’s a chance these issues may not happen to you, you should play at your own risk.
Royal Vegas Casino Mobile App
Unfortunately, there isn’t a Royal Vegas app available for its players, but there is a mobile-optimized website. This website is available on any mobile device, whether it’s iOS or Android, and works on both mobile phones and tablets. One of the great things about the mobile site is that it looks just as good as the desktop site, something that most casino sites find hard to do!
The dark design of the Royal Vegas mobile site works well, given how bright most phone screens are, and you aren’t blinded when you open the site. Everything is clearly laid out and well-proportioned for the smaller screen, making everything easy to find. Playing the games is just as easy as navigating around the site, as it just takes a couple of taps, and you’re away.
Royal Vegas Casino Customer Support
It’s important to know when you’re playing on an online casino site that you’ll be supported if things ever go wrong. Depositing our hard-earned money with unfamiliar companies can be a daunting process, made much easier if you know there’s someone on hand if you need them. Unfortunately, the Royal Vegas customer service department leaves a lot to be desired.
If you go to the Support section, you’ll find an FAQ, which may have the answer to your question, but there is no option to contact customer support. Similarly, if you go to the Help section and click on the Support and FAQ drop-down box, there is mention of a Royal Vegas live chat team but no option to contact them. I found I had to go into my account settings, go to My Documents, and a link is there at the bottom of the page.
It’s needlessly complicated for such an important feature, and many people won’t have stumbled across it as I have. However, once I was able to contact the Royal Vegas support team, I found them to be extremely helpful with whatever question I had, which was somewhat reassuring. I’ll post the link to the page where you can find the live chat link in case you can’t find it - something that’s extremely likely, given where it is!

What We Think
We’ve covered a lot in this Royal Vegas Casino review, and while there are some things this site does well, there are too many negatives to make this a site that I can recommend. The welcome bonus is a good size, but it’s let down by the massive wagering requirements and seemingly non-existent ongoing promotions. The range of banking options is a welcome site, but the $50 minimum withdrawal amount may price out some of the smaller-stakes players. Plus, the incredibly hard-to-find customer support section doesn’t bode well, particularly for a site that’s had several complaints about withheld funds. Overall, this isn’t a site I would recommend, but if you can look past some of the negatives, there is a great range of games to play.
